About Orlando Truck Repair
An independent diesel shop in downtown Orlando, started in 1991 with two people and a service bay.
Orlando Truck Repair is the truck service side of Robert's Diesel Works. The business opened in 1991 with two employees. It grew on repeat customers: local fleets, owner operators and the contractors whose trucks carry cranes, booms and bodies that most shops will not touch.
What kind of shop we are
We are independently owned, and we are not a dealership. That means we work on every make of truck and engine rather than one brand, from light duty work pickups to Class 8 tractors, and we choose parts on what fits the job rather than on a franchise agreement.
Three things set the shop apart from a general garage:
- Drivetrain in house. Transmissions, differentials, transfer cases and PTOs are diagnosed and rebuilt here, not sent out.
- Vocational trucks. Crane trucks, bucket trucks, dump trucks and custom bodies need hydraulic and fabrication skills as well as mechanics. We have both under one roof, and our crane work is shown at drywallcranes.com.
- A parts department of our own. Drivetrain units and parts come through pgttruckparts.com, so a repair is not waiting days on a part we could have had on the shelf.
Where we are
906 West Gore St., Orlando, Florida 32805, a short run from both I-4 and the 408. We are open Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern.
