What we work on

Most of what rolls through our bays is a working truck with a deadline: a box truck that has to make tomorrow's route, a tractor waiting on a load, a crane or bucket truck that a crew is standing around for. We fix the whole truck, but the jobs we see most are the ones below.

Drivetrain work is our strong suit

Transmissions and rear ends are where a lot of general truck shops send the work out. We keep it in house. When a gearbox or a differential comes out, we decide on the bench whether it gets repaired, rebuilt or swapped for an exchange unit, and our own parts store at pgttruckparts.com means a replacement unit can often be on its way the same day when that is the faster answer.

Keeping a fleet legal and on the road

A truck that gets looked at on a schedule breaks down less on the side of the road. We run quarterly preventive maintenance on single trucks and small fleets, and we do annual DOT inspections in the same visit when the date is coming up.

Easy to reach, room to park

The shop is at 906 West Gore St., just west of downtown, with direct access from I-4 and the 408. There is room behind the building for a full tractor and trailer, so you can drop the trailer and leave the tractor with us.
